Sal Ferraro reopened the “Blue Evening” in 1964 and renamed it “Now Voyager” after the 1940 movie with Bette Davis & Paul Henreid. While at “The Voyager” Sal snapped thousands of pictures and to this day has the largest library of slides of any nightclub in world. The slides were shown on multi-slide projectors in the club. In 1969 Sal opened Visa Travel for the in-house travel club called “Voyagers”. They traveled to Mexico, Hawaii, cruised the Pacific and took weekend trips outside of L.A. Since then Sal has visited more than 100 countries and is a member of the “Century Travel Club”. His motto: “Find new places and faces--Loosen your hold on the past--Latch on to something connected with tomorrow” has kept him young at heart.
